Marilyn A. Gast, 47, Weyauwega, a former town of New Hope resident, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2001, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Hospital.
Services will be at11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, with the Revs. Dennis Lemke and Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega and from 10 a.m. Thursday at the church until the services.
Mrs. Gast was born Dec. 19,1953, in Iola, a daughter of Wendell and Effie (Nerlien) Krogwold.
She graduated from Brodhead High School in 1972and received bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1976, graduating magna cum laude.
She was married to Jeffrey Gast on Sept. 30, 1978.
After their marriage they settled in Weyauwega.
She worked as an RN in the intensive care unit at New London Family Medical Center.
She was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Michael, Kevin and Ryan; her father, Amherst unction; her mother, Brodhead; three sisters, Kathleen (Nicholas) George, Waupaca, Helen (Charles) Coomer, Pisgah Forest, N.C., and Brenda (Fred) Simeth, Spooner; and one brother, Wayne (Debbie) Krogwold, Amherst Junction.
