Maximillian “Max” P. Danczyk, 84, 3451 Hay Meadow Drive, town of Dewey, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at his home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun, with the Rev. Wesley Janowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Piasarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the services. The parish rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun.
Mr. Danczyk was born Oct. 12, 1916, in the town of Dewey, a son of the late Stephen and Frances (Ostrowski) Danczyk.
He was married to Eleanor Schulfer on June 4, 1940, at St. Casimir Catholic Church.
After the marriage, they settled at their current address, living there the past 61 years. He was a dairy farmer all his life.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Richard (Barbara), Washington, Pa., James (Tracy), Yuma, Ariz., and Allan, Kenneth (Judy) and Mark, all of Stevens Point; three daughters, Mary Ann Danczyk, Stevens Point, Bonnie (Don) Derezinski, Port Edwards, and Noel (Chris) Johnson, Plainfield; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Clara Hass and Kathleen Danczyk; six brothers, Barney, Felix, John, Louis, Joe and Jack; and two sister, Mary and Verona.
