Ruth C. Steuck, 81, Mosinee, a Junction City native, died Thursday, May 24, 2001, at Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Center Wausau Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran Church in Dancy, with the Rev. Stephen Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Beste Funeral Home in Mosinee and from 10 a.m. Monday at the church until the services.
Mrs. Steuck was born July 19, 1919, in Junction City, a daughter of the late Charles and Caroline (Mayer) Albert.
She was married to Vernon Steuck on July 26, 1941, in Junction City. He died April 26, 1975.
She was employed at F.A. Rondeau in Mosinee for many years and then was employed at Herrschners in Stevens Point.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Dancy and was active in various organizations and charities.
Survivors include one son, Lynn, Mosinee; one daughter, Lorraine Steuck, Appleton; and two brothers, Edward (Anna) Albert, Mosinee, and Wallace (Rosemary) Albert, Wisconsin Rapids.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Arnold, Alvin, Ernest, Norman and Charles.
