Loretta Catherine Becker, 84, formerly of Marshfield and mother of a Junction City man, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at Bethel Center in Arpin, where she had resided since June 1993.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Auburndale, with the Rev. John A. Wisneski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Auburndale.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home in Marshfield and from 10 a.m. Friday at the church until the services. A St. Mary Parish rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be designated in her name to St. Mary Parish Renovation Fund.
Mrs. Becker was born July 4, 1916, in Auburndale, a daughter of the late Wenzel and Anna (Grassl) Lieble. She attended St. Mary School in Auburndale.
She was married to Emery C. Becker on Jan. 16, 1934. He died June 20, 1966.
After their marriage, they farmed in Auburndale.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.
Survivors include two sons, John (Peggy), Junction City, and Thomas (Roseann), Milwaukee; four daughters, Delores (Vernon) Kempf, Auburndale, Beverly (Vern) Staller, Rosco, Ill., Louise (Gene) Radtke, Sturtevant, and Peggy Hutter, Marshfield; one brother, Frank (Lillian) Lieble, Wisconsin Rapids; one sister, Katherine Stueber, Wisconsin Rapids; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by five sons, Ronald, Emery Jr., David, Charles and Willis; one daughter, Sheila; and three brothers, Arthur, Walter and Max Lieble.
