Ruth G. Lueck, 87, Almond, former owner of an Almond cafe, died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at the Wild Rose Manor in Wild Rose.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma, with Pastor David Henriksen officiating. Inurnment will be in the First Belmont Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home until the services.
Mrs. Lueck was born Sept. 30, 1913, in the town of Stockton, a daughter of the late Leo and Cecilia (Iverson) Ropella.
She was married to Ralph J. James on Oct. 20, 1931.
She was married to Glen Casey on Dec. 21, 1943. He died in 1960.
She was married to Harold G. Lueck on Jan. 8, 1966. He also preceded her in death.
She was the owner of the Dinner Bell Café in Almond for many years.
She was a member of the former Almond Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth (Bertha) James, Almond, and Glen James, Oklahoma; one sister, Alice (Earl) Rodak, Wisconsin Rapids; one brother, Maynard Ropella, Mexico; six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
