Robert James Sueck, 82, Sebastian, Fla., a former Sentry Insurance executive in Stevens Point, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at his home.
Services were at Roseland United Methodist Church in Roseland, Fla., on April16.

Mr. Sueck was born Sept. 10, 1919, in Sheboygan Falls, a son of the late August and Dina (Neerhoff) Sueck.
He served with the 444th Bomb Group on a B29 during World War II.
After his discharge, he attended St. Louis University in St. Louis, Mo., where he graduated cum laude.
He was married to Patricia Ryan on Sept. 15, 1943, at West Palm Beach, Fla.
After graduation he worked for the Boatmen’s Bank of St. Louis for a short time.
He then came to Stevens Point to work at Sentry Insurance, becoming vice president/treasurer.
After 17 years, he left in the 1960s to become vice president of Broward National Bank in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He also was vice president of Kidder Peabody Brokerage firm.
After retirement, he moved to Sebastian, Fla., living there for 25 years.
He was a member of Roseland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Sandra (Sam) Sandal, Greeley, Colo., Lynne (Ronald) Johns, Melbourne Beach, Fla., Susan (Noels) Swanson, Sebastian, Fla., and Diane Butler, Veer Lake Estates, Fla.; one son, Robert John, Sebastian, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
