Gwendolyn “Gwen” Kenowski, 80, 6302 County Road JJ, Plover, died Monday, April 16, 2001, at St. Michael’s Hospital due to cancer.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Trempe officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Kenowski was born May 21, 1920, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Newmann) Precourt. She grew up and attended schools in the Plover area.
She was married to Clarence Kenowski in 1946 in Stevens Point.
She was a lifelong resident of the town of Buena Vista and farmed there with her husband.
She was a member of St. Bronislava Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Linda Kenowski, town of Buena Vista; one son, Leo (Nancy), town of Buena Vista; one brother, Gordon Precourt, town of Buena Vista; and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter.
