Sister Elenata Hejna, 88, a Sister of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis for 71 years, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at St. Joseph Congregational Home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the convent chapel, with the Rev. Robert Greatorex officiating. Burial will be in the convent cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the convent. A vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
The former Helen Hejna was born May 12, 1912, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (Domogalski) Hejna.
She was received into the novitiate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis on Aug. 5, 1930. She was a teacher or principal in parochial schools in Wisconsin for 59 years before retiring to the Congregational Home in 1990.
Survivors include one niece, Delphine Jensen, Chicago, Ill.
