Robert James Laskowski, 56, Stephenson, Mich., died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette, Wis.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson, Mich., with the Rev. Peter Fosu officiating.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A veterans service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Laskowski was born Aug. 8, 1944, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Joe and Gertrude (Sankey) Laskowski.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1962 until 1965.
He was married to Anita Moyer in 1967. They later divorced.
After military service, he was employed by Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee for more than 30 years as a foreman, retiring in 1995.
In 1996 he moved to the Stephenson area. In the summers, he worked for Alan Buckmaster or Seamless Gutters Inc.
He was a member of the Church of the Precious Blood.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Jo Laskowski and Lisa Smith, both of Milwaukee; and three sisters, Germaine (Augie) Tordreys, Kenosha, Lauretta (Marv) Mayer, Menoninee, Mich., and Ruth (Joe) Suchon, Birnamwood.
