Lloyd Gustav Rahm, 71, Yuma, Ariz., father of a Stevens Point man, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at Yuma Nursing Center in Yuma, Ariz.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Evangelical Free Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with Pastor James Buckman officiating.
Sunset View Funeral Home in Yuma, Ariz., assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Rahm was born March 12, 1929, in Bellingham, Wash., a son of the late Einar G. and Vera Anna (Ek) Rahm.
He served in the U.S. Navy from April 1949 until his discharge in 1953 and was in aviation with Fighter Squadron 73.
He was married to Helen York on Nov. 22, 1951, in Philadelphia. She died April 7, 1992.
He was later married to Betty Merrick.
He was a salesman for an engineering company and then an over-the-road truck driver.
He had been a Yuma resident for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brett (Jennifer), Pittsville, and Craig (Karen), Stevens Point; two daughters, Claudia (Landon) Schooler, Carlisle, Iowa, and Marti (Thor) Sande, Marshfield; one brother, Einar (Olga), Ferndale, Wash.; and 10 grandchildren.
