Ervin E. Habeck, 80, 2831 Maple Drive, Plover, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Jensen-Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home until the services.
Mr. Habeck was born June 6, 1920, in Ringle, a son of the late Walter and Ora (Bentley) Habeck Sr.
He served in the U.S. Army as a tank driver during World War II in the campaigns for North Africa, Italy, Normandy and Germany.
He worked as a bus driver for the Greyhound Bus Co., retiring in 1980.
Survivors include one daughter, Ann (Duane) Kaiser, Dubuque, Iowa; one son, Lance, Plover; eight brothers, Walter (Joy) Jr. and Harley (Alma), both of Schofield, Allen (Verna), Rothschild, Truman and Gene, both of Wausau, Merlin (Shirley), Milwaukee, Don (Pat), Tomahawk, and Patrick, Byron, Ga.; one sister, Audrey Earl, McAllen, Texas; and four grandchildren.
