Dorothy M. Worden, 75, Wisconsin Rapids, a Stevens Point native, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Plover, with the Rev. Kevin Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Boston Funeral Home.
Mrs. Worden was born May 30, 1925, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Archie and Sadie Cram. She grew up and attended schools here.
She worked at St. Michael’s Hospital for a while.
She was married to William Worden on Aug. 23, 1944, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point. He died Aug. 29, 1990.
She moved to Wisconsin Rapids in 1992.
She was a member of the Assembly of God in Wisconsin Rapids and a past member of the First Assembly of God in Plover.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Calloway and Cheryl Nelson, both of Wisconsin Rapids; two sons, Gary, Florida City, Fla., and Ken (Mary), Stevens Point; three sisters, Virginia (Ray) Cisewski, Stevens Point, Clara Jepsen, Ohio, and Luella (Robert) Reed, Winneconne; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and one grandson.
