Aurelia E. Higgins, 92, Friendship Manor, 1590 Okray Ave., Plover, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mark Friedrich officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in the town of Grand Rapids in Wood County.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home until the services.
A memorial will be established in her name.
Mrs. Higgins was born Nov. 23, 1908, in the town of Eau Pleine, a daughter of the late Otto and Ida (Schultz) Dimka.
She was married to Walter G. Higgins on Nov. 12, 1927, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point. He died Aug. 20, 1975.
She worked as a waitress and did cooking for several restaurants in the area.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Junction City and its women’s guild.
Survivors include one son, Donald (Josephine), Junction City; two daughters, Hazel (Anthony) Peterson, Milladore, and Sandra (Kenneth) Klimpke, Greenville; 20 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
