Philip R. Deniston, 62, 403 Sunrise Ave., Park Ridge, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Intercession.
There will be a time for visiting with the family at the church following services.
Boston Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Deniston was born Oct. 25, 1928, in Syracuse, N.Y., a son of the late Willard and Bessie Deniston. He moved to Milwaukee with his family and grew up there. He attended Riverside High School in Milwaukee.
He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
Following his military service, he attended Milwaukee School of Engineering and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
He was married to Patricia A. Resch on Jan. 31, 1970, at St. John’s Cathedral in Milwaukee.
He worked for Continental Can Co. and then the Miller Brewing Co. as quality control supervisor. He moved to Stevens Point in 1987 and began Central Camera, which he operated with his wife.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Maureen (William) De Terville, Green Bay; two sons, Matthew and Adam, both of Stevens Point; two brothers, David, Menomonee Falls, and Jack (Fran), Davenport, Iowa; and one sister, Nancy Cox, Oxford, Ohio.
