Katherine G. Clendenning, 81, Osceola, Ind., widow of a former Stevens Point man, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at St. Joseph Community Hospital in Mishawaka, Ind., after a brief illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home in Mishawaka, Ind., with the Rev. Scott Distler of Grace Brethern Church of Osceola officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Brethern Church of Osceola.
Mrs. Clendenning was born June 3, 1919, in Terre Haute, Ind., a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kautz) Kelley.
She was married to Roy Clendenning on July 18, 1942, in South Bend, Ind. He died March 5, 1987.
She was a member of Grace Brethern Church of Osceola.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Susan Clendenning and Peggy (Bruce) Martin, both of Osceola, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Ruby, Pearl, Margaret, Betty and Wanda; and eight brothers, Theodore, Virgil, Clarence, Michael, Charles, Albert, Kenneth and Herbert.
