James “Jim” Fugiasco, 83, 2008 Highway O, Junction City, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at the Tri-County Medical Center in San Diego, Calif.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Junction City. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and again Wednesday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the services. There will be a parish rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fugiasco was born March 11, 1917, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Carlo and Madelena (Valentino) Fuggiasco.
He was married to Emily B. Wetzel on Dec. 31, 1938, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She died Sept. 30, 1998.
He worked for 20 years at the Wehr Steele Manufacturing Co. in Milwaukee until his retirement in 1979.
Survivors include four sons, James (Shirley) Jr., Junction City, and John, Richard (Sharon) and Jerry (Jude), all of Milwaukee; two daughters, Carol (Mike) Amerson, San Diego, Calif., and Lynn (Steve) Moyer, Palmyra; three brothers, Joseph (Nancy) Fugiasco, John Fugiasco and Charles Theuer, all of Milwaukee; two sisters, Frances (Frank) Hill, Milwaukee, and Madeline Westerlund, Lancaster, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
