Edwin C. Strykowski, 82, Largo, Fla., a Junction City native, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare of Largo, Fla.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Justin the Martyr Catholic Church in Largo, Fla. Burial will be in Garden Sanctuary Cemetery in Seminole, Fla.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home in Seminole, Fla.
Mr. Strykowski was born May 29, 1918, in Junction City, a son of the late Frank and Petronella “Nellie” (Kowalski) Strykowski.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was married to Charlotte Bergman 58 years ago.
He moved to Largo, Fla., from Waukegan, Ill., in 1982.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 731 In Waukegan, Ill., and the Johns Manville Quarter Century Club in Waukegan, Ill.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Stevens, Kenneth City, Fla., and Richard, Clearwater, Fla.; two daughters, Nancy Habjan, Seminole, Fla., and Patricia Speckmann, Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Raymond.
