Delphine L. Kurszewski, 84, Bevent, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, at her home.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent, with the Rev. Herbert Zoromski officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Visitation was held at the church Tuesday before the services.
Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home of Wittenberg assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Kurszewski was born May 6, 1916, in the town of Bevent in Marathon County, a daughter of the late Barney and Martha (Lewandowski) Kostka.
She was married to Walter Kurszewski on Jan. 4, 1936, at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent. He died Jan. 12, 1978.
She was a member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol (Richard) Wanta, Bevent, Nancy (Richard) Dudley, Wausau, and Rita Raschka, Stevens Point; two sisters, Mamie (Herb) Leitermann, Schofield, and Mattie Gruna, Bevent; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two infant daughters, Faith and Sandra; six brothers and two sisters.
