Betsy Kammer, 24, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Ed Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
The family will greet friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the services.
The Shuda Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorials have been established to Community Industries Corp. and the Achievement Center.
Miss Kammer was born June 7, 1976, in Evanston, Ill., a daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Helmes) Kammer. They moved to Stevens Point in 1986.
She completed her schooling in the special education program at P.J. Jacobs. She has since been in the adult services program at Community Industries Corp.
She lived with her family until 1999. She has since lived with the Jenny and Jeff Garsomke foster family and recently the Melissa and Jack Rzentkowski foster family.
Survivors include her parents, 600 Seventh St., Plover; one brother, Dr. C. Scott (Dr. Julie) Kammer, New Bern, N.C.; and her paternal grandmother, Lorraine Kammer, East Alton, N.H.
