Albert O. Damrau, 94, Amherst, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at Crystal River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waupaca.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Amherst, with the Rev. Dale Critchley officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst and on Saturday at the church from noon until the services.
Mr. Damrau was born Feb. 19, 1906, in the town of Amherst, a son of the late Henry and Mary (Koentopp) Damrau.
He was married to Frieda Scheider on June 18, 1930, in Amherst.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Amherst.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Orville (Edwina), Plover, Wayne (Germaine), Wisconsin Rapids, and LaVerne (Doris), Amherst; one sister, Edna Tairks, Waupaca; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
