Sister Frances Ann (Rosemonde) Zuba, 97, a Sister of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis for 80 years, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Joseph Convent Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Greatorex officiating. Burial will follow in the convent cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the convent. A vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
The former Frances Zuba was born Aug. 20, 1903, in Lorain, Ohio, a daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Zieba) Zuba.
Sister Zuba was received into the novitiate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis on Aug. 4, 1920. She taught or served as principal in Wisconsin parochial schools for 55 years and retired to the Congregational Home in 1977.
In Stevens Point she taught at St. Stanislaus School from 1941 to 1944.
Survivors include one sister, Helen Domaleski, Lorain, Ohio.
