Ronald Glodowski, 52, San Ramon, Calif., a Stevens Point native, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at Kaiser Hospital in California, after a three-year battle with cancer.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Robert Schaller officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Friday at the church until the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Glodowski was born Nov. 26, 1948, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Raymond and Caroline (Kitowski) Glodowski. He attended local schools, graduating from Pacelli High School.
He entered the U.S. Navy on Nov. 13, 1967, in Wisconsin Rapids. He served as an AE2 with the 146th Attack Squadron. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. He was honorably discharged on Sept. 10, 1971, in California.
He was employed as a software engineer for US Audiotex in California.
Survivors include one uncle, Leonard (Lorraine) Glodowski, Stevens Point; one aunt, Delores (Richard) Sorenson, Hopkins, Minn.; and several cousins.
