Robert “Bozo” Matke, 57, 2431 Post Road, Plover, former owner and operator of the Thunderbird Bar in Plover, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home.
Visitation will from noon Tuesday at the funeral home until the services.
Mr. Matke was born March 20, 1943, in Stevens Point, a son of the late John and Mary (Discher) Matke.
He was employed at Golden County Foods in Plover. He had owned and operated the Thunderbird Bar from 1974 to 1989.
Survivors include three sons, Brian, Florida, Brandon, Mosinee, and Brent, Plover; one daughter, Brenda LaBarge, Florida; three brothers, Lawrence, Milwaukee, George (Delores), Plover, and Joseph, Florida; two sisters, Margaret (Fred) Koltz, Milwaukee, and Irene Laszewski, Colorado; and nine grandchildren.
