Leo F. Zywicki, 56, 2137 County Road I North, town of Sharon, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital after being stricken at home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt, with the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shuda Funeral Chapel and from 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church until the services. St. Adalbert Men’s Rosary Society will combine with the St. Isadore Society for a general rosary at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Zywicki was born Sept. 6, 1944, in the town of Alban, a son of the late Leo J. and Praksida (Ostrowski) Zywicki. He attended St. Adalbert Elementary School and graduated from Rosholt High School.
He was married to Janice Damask on Oct. 9, 1965, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia.
He worked for Anderson Machine Shop, the town of Sharon and currently for The Worth Co. He also ran his own farm from 1970 to the present.
He was a member of the St. Adalbert Men’s Rosary Society, the St. Isadore Society of Sacred Heart Parish in Polonia, Rosholt Area Threshermen Inc., Blackhawk Archers and National Rifle Association.
He was a volunteer for the Rosholt American Legion and also did catering for various organizations in the Rosholt area.
Survivors include his wife; and two sons, Norman and Nicholas, both at home.
