Eunice K. VanGrinsven, 78, Appleton, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, at Franciscan Care Center in Appleton after a long illness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Appleton, with the Rev. Don Zuleger officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memoiral Park in Appleton.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church until the services.
A memorial has been established in her name.
Valley Funeral Home in Appleton assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. VanGrinsven was born Aug. 29, 1922, in Appleton, a daughter of the late Earl W. and Gertrude (Beckman) Kraemer.
She graduated from Appleton High School, attended vocational school and worked as a payroll clerk at Marathon Paper Mill.
She was married to Joseph C. VanGrinsven on Sept. 10, 1949, at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mark (Jeanne), Appleton, and Gary (Peggy), Menasha; two daughters, Karlene Ferrante, Stevens Point; and Sister Deanna VanGrinsven, O.S.C., Bloomington, Minn.; and three grandsons.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Roy Kraemer.
