Esther Raczek, 75, 1892 Sandy Creek Road, Mosinee, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton, with the Rev. Joseph Grassl officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Knowlton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 9 a.m. Thursday at the church until the services.
The Beste Funeral Home of Mosinee assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Raczek was born Oct. 12, 1925, in Bevent, a daughter of the late Frank and Dora (Stencil) Ganski.
She was married to Frank Raczek on May 22, 1954, in Bevent.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Circle and the Cabrini Society of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and “The Birthday Girls.”
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Timothy (DiAnne), Franklin, and Anthony (Cheryl) and Gregory (Patricia), both of Mosinee; four daughters, Naomi (Gene) Schroeder, Mosinee, Phyllis (Robert) Holman, Bowling Green, Ky., Janice (Brian) Gralla, Mosinee, and Mary (Dan) Schroeder, Bonduel; three brothers, Frank (Betty) Ganski, Schaumburg, Ill., Leonard (Loretta) Ganski, Westfield, and Myron (Ellen) Ganski, McHenry, Ill.; two sisters, Alice (Edwin) Wanta, Milwaukee, and Leona (Chester) Wisinski, Port Washington; and 16 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, John, Albin, Henry, Edwin and Sylvester.
