Ernestine A. Fox, 96, Amherst, formerly of Rudolph, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Amherst, with the Rev. Dale Critchley officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst and at the church Friday one hour prior to the services.
Mrs. Fox was born Nov. 12, 1904, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late John and Anna (Boehm) Gadow.
She was married to Fred Fox on July 17, 1926, in Chicago, Ill. They were longtime residents of Rudolph. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1982.
Mrs. Fox was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Amherst.
Survivors include two sons, Fred (Audrey), Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Donald (Carol), Bloomington, Ill.; a daughter, Ruth (Norman) Gollnick, Amherst; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Martin.
