Rita M. Sankey, 76, 1300 Briggs St., died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at River Pines Center.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home until the services.
Mrs. Sankey was born Jan. 30, 1924, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Rinka) Hintz. She attended St. Peter School and Emerson High School.
She was married to Stanley S. Sankey of Plover on Sept. 21, 1946, at St. Peter Catholic Church.
She worked as a fly tier at Weber Tackle Co. She was also a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Marlene (Alvin) Klug, Wausau, Kathleen (Melvin) Kozlowski, Wisconsin Rapids, Marcella (Charles) McGeshick, Crandon, and Susan (Peter) Wojciechowski, Stevens Point; one brother, William (Loretta) Hintz, South Milwaukee; two sisters, Louise (Robert) Detert, Menasha, and Isabelle Kuplic, Arizona; eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
