Mary L. Jurgella, 89, formerly of 237 N. Brilowski Road, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at the Portage County Health Care Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with the Rev. Donald Przybylski officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel. The St. Stanislaus Rosary Society, of which she was a member, will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Jurgella was born April 16, 1911, in Ringle, a daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Bekowski) Pestka. She attended Hatley schools.
She was married to Joseph Jurgella on Oct. 27, 1931, at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hatley. He died April 17, 1990.
Survivors include two sons, William (Florence), Stevens Point, and Richard (Marilyn), Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Dorothy (Frank) Patoka, Shawano, and Mary Ann (Reginald) Lepak and “Dolly” Darlene Jurgella, both of Stevens Point; three sisters, Rose Clore and Lillian (Arthur) Hintz, Milwaukee, and Esther Pozorski, Wausau; one brother, Leo (Ceil) Pestka, Wausau; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, three sisters and three brothers.
