Evelyn Dahms, 88, 6653 Barth Lane, town of Buena Vista, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at Portage County Health Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home until the services.
Mrs. Dahms was born April 1, 1912, in Inwood Township, Michigan, a daughter of the late Azarius and Mirelda (Simpson) Plante.
She was married to Bernard Dahms on July 10, 1931, in Plover. He died May 28, 1968.
She worked as a homemaker on the family farm.
She was a member of Jehovah’sWitnesses.
Survivors include two daughters, June (David E.) Bonsack, Almond, and Anita (Fred) Kolanowski, New Berlin; two sons, John (Marilyn), Edgerton, and Robert, Waupaca; one brother, Franklin Plante, Colorado; three sisters, Myrtle Edwards Manske, Ripon, Marion Cota, Michigan, and Elizabeth Louis, Plover; 27 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by one son, James; seven brothers; one sister; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
