Veronica “Verna” T. Woyak, 85, 2824 Prais St., Stevens Point, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 31, 2000, at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with the Rev. Donald Przybylski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Fancher.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. A parish rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Woyak was born March 21, 1915, in the town of Stockton, a daughter of the late Charles and Victoria (Knitter) Dombrowski. She attended Sacred Heart Elementary School.
She was married to Julius Woyak on Feb. 28, 1933, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. He died June 18, 1965.
After their marriage, they settled in Amherst Junction, where they farmed. They owned and operated Julius Woyak & Sons potato farm for many years.
Mrs. Woyak was past president of the St. James Altar Society and was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Rosary Society.
Survivors include four sons, Jerome (Janet) and Gerald (Lynette), both of Bancroft; Leonard, Stevens Point, and George (Robin), Amherst Junction; three daughters, Marge (Carl) Lucht, Pontiac, Ill., Marlene Woyak, Stevens Point, and Marcy (Roger) Worzalla, Custer; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, an infant son, an infant daughter, three sisters and nine brothers.
