Raymond “Musky Ray” J. Soik, 67, a Custer native, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in West Allis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Holy Assumption Catholic Church in West Allis. Interment will be in St. Bartholomew Cemetery in Mill Creek.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Skubal-Slattery-Koelsch-Larson Funeral Home in West Allis and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Soik was born in the Custer area on Oct. 20, 1932, a son of the late John and Anna (Eron) Soik. He lived here until 1955.
He was married to Dolores A. Pientka on Jan. 28, 1936, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek.
He worked at Amco Metal in West Allis until retiring in 1997.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Suzette (John) Lemanski, Catherine (David) Pawlicki and Janice (James) Wolfe, all of West Allis, and Doreen Soik, Stevens Point; three sons, Charles, Schofield, and Mark (Amanda) and Robert, both of Waupaca; four brothers, Henry (Theresa) and Leonard (Gertrude), both of Stevens Point, Steven (Florence), West Allis, and David (Audrey), Muskego; and 12 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard; and two sisters, Theresa Rozek and Evelyn Stuczynski.
