Lorraine E. Steingraber, 80, New London, mother of a Plover woman, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London, with the Rev. Brian Hennig officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Cline and Hanson Funeral Home in New London and from 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the services.
A memorial fund has been established for the expansion of the Emanuel Lutheran School.
Mrs. Steingraber was born June 29, 1920, in the town of Deer Creek in Outagamie County, a daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Schroeder) Knapp.
She was married to Ervin Steingraber on May 24, 1947, at St. John Lutheran Church in Shiocton. He died Oct. 9, 1974.
She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London.
Survivors include four daughters, Lona (Jerry) Sexton, Plover, Lynnette (Phil) Wilson, Wisconsin Rapids, Ruth (Marshall) Goers, Marshfield, and Susie Steingraber, New London; three sons, Roger (Sue), Lee (Kay), and Dean (Rhonda), all of New London; one sister, Niona Timmreck, New London; and 17 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Leroy.
