Doris J. DeDeker, 66, 1749 Plover St., died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at her home while under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Kozlowski officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Boston Funeral Home.
A memorial is established in her name for Hospice of Portage County in lieu of flowers.
Mrs. DeDeker was born Aug. 7, 1934, in Beloit, a daughter of the late Melvin and Nellie (McGillen) Cobb. She grew up in Beloit and graduated from high school in Beloit.
She was married to Dennis J. DeDeker on Aug. 11, 1956, in Beloit.
After their marriage, they moved to Stevens Point. She worked for J.C. Penney Co., retiring in 1995.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Denise (Bill) Stoltenberg, Brooklyn Park, Minn., Dianna Feltz, Hortonville, Dena (Randy) Kawski, Stevens Point, and Donna (Dean) Kaetterhenry, Wisconsin Rapids; one son, Bo (Lori), Plover; three sisters, Jo Ann (Fred) Whitemore, Cuba City, Helen Fiourcci, Beloit, and Sarah (Ray) Fiourcci, Rockford, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.
