Clinton S. Young, 89, Almond, died Monday, Oct. 9, at the home of his son, Kenneth, where he was under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Almond United Methodist Church, with Pastor Richard Fite officiating. Burial of cremains will be in East German Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond.
Mr. Young was born Dec. 12, 1910, in the town of Oasis in Waushara County, a son of the late Morris F. and Sarah (Rammel) Young.
He worked for the Portage County Highway Department for more than 25 years.
He was a member of the Almond United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Jeanette Watkins, Madison, Barbara (Steve) Mehne, Almond, Janice Michaels, Cudahy, and Beverly (Gary) Nieman, Arpin; one son, Kenneth (Susan), Almond; one brother, Wallace, Wild Rose; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
