Clifford Kenneth Mallek, 66, 3378 Woods Road, Junction City, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at the Portage County Health Care Center.
There will be no funeral services or visitations.
Martens/Kundinger Funeral Home in Junction City is assisting the family.
Mr. Mallek was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Junction City, a son of the late Walter B. and Gertrude G. (Klish) Mallek. He attended St. Michael’s Catholic School in Junction City.
He served in the U.S. Army from Feb. 6, 1957, until he was honorably discharged on Feb. 5, 1959.
He was married to Rosanna Mork on Dec. 1, 1972. They later divorced.
He worked for CW Transport of Wisconsin Rapids as a semi-truck driver based out of the Milwaukee terminal for many years. After his retirement, he returned to the town of Carson where he had a hobby farm. Prior to working for CW Transport, he was a truck driver for various trucking firms in central Wisconsin.
He was a former member of the Junction City Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include one sister, Kathleen (John E.) Feltz, Junction City; and four brothers, David R. (Barb), Menomonee Falls, Conrad L. (Mary), Junction City, Allan T. (Nancy), Stevens Point, and Gerald T. (Karen), Hudson.
