Alfred E. Glodowski, 70, Amherst Junction, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Friday at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, with the Rev. Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Fancher.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association in his memory will be appreciated.
Jungers-Holly Funeral of Amherst assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Glodowski was born Jan. 20, 1930, in the town of Amherst, a son of the late John and Anastasia (Sankey) Glodowski.
He was married to Grace Zoromski on May 3, 1958, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun.
He was a dairy farmer on the family homestead, retiring in 1985.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Karen (Thomas) Miller, Waunakee; one son, Alan (Colleen), Plover; one brother, Gene (Dorothy), Stevens Point; two sisters, Carol (Alfred) Firkus, Custer, and Madeline (Edward) Ruether, Milwaukee; and three grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Reynold and Hubert.
