Adam M. Williams, 19, Amherst, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, as the result of an automobile accident in the town of Amherst.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church in Amherst, with the Revs. Gretchen Anderson and Kelly Smith officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst and from 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church until the services.
A memorial has been established in his name.
Mr. Williams was born March 9, 1981, in Stevens Point, a son of Dan and Alice (Frederikson) Williams.
He graduated from Amherst High School in 1999. He had been accepted to start school at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in January 2001.
Survivors include his parents, Amherst; one brother, Luke, Amherst; his maternal grandmother, Retha Frederikson, Black River Falls; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Williams, Montello; and his paternal grandfather, Robert Williams, Powell River, British Columbia, Canada.
