Violet M. Platta, 73, formerly of Stevens Point and Elroy, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, at Hess Hospital in Mauston.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the services.
Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Platta was born July 29, 1927, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late George and Stella (Kluck) Klish.
She was married to Leo Osiedacz on June 28, 1947. He died in 1968.
She was married to William Platta on Sept. 8, 1978. He died April 20, 1994.
She retired from Sentry Insurance Co.
Survivors include one daughter, Connie (Gary) Meronek, Almena; one son, Michael Osiedacz, Stevens Point; two sisters, Irene (Paul) Koshollek and Lillian (Ray) Rekowski, both of Stevens Point; one brother, Robert (June) Klish, Stevens Point; four grandson; and a special friend, Bill Bruss.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Klish.
