Margaret J. Gross, 77, 709 Sunset Ave., Park Ridge, a former owner of Point Bowl, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel. A general rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
A memorial has been established in her name in lieu of flowers for the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Gross was born April 23, 1923, in Albert Lea, Minn., a daughter of the late John and Lulu (Loftus) Lennon. She graduated from Albert Lea High School and began working as a telephone operator until her marriage.
She was married to Lloyd Gross on Sept. 11, 1948, in Albert Lea, Minn. He died April 11, 1998.
The couple lived in Minneapolis and Rhinelander before moving to Stevens Point in 1962.
They owned and operated Point Bowl, 2525 Dixon St., until retirement.
Survivors include one son, Gregory, Stevens Point; one sister, Geraldine Belinia, Hastings, Neb.; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son and three brothers.
