Frank Miller, 79, Appleton, formerly of Mosinee and Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000, at Outagamie County Health Center in Appleton.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Beste Funeral Home in Mosinee, with the Rev. Marion Talaga officiating. There will be a private family burial at Mosinee Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. Friday until the services.
Mr. Miller was born July 4, 1921, in Mosinee, a son of the late William and Agnes (Nowak) Miller.
He was married to Stella Lachac on Aug. 13, 1942, in Wausau.
He retired as a supervisor from the Weyerhaeuser paper mill in Rothschild in 1983.
He was a national champion in the Muskie Release Program in 1989. He also played concertina and was a crafter for 10 years of his retirement.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Gerri (Ken) Zuber, Belvidere, Ill., and Sandi (Tim) Schlafer, Appleton; one sister, Helen Magro, Harwood, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
