Stanley G. “Stosh” Wojtak, 42, Mount Prospect, Ill., son of former Stevens Point residents, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at his home.
Services and visitation were held Sunday and Monday in Roselle, Ill. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Franklin Park, Ill.
An educational fund has been established for his children. Donations can be sent to family members made payable to M&E Education Trust.
Mr. Wojtak was born Nov. 27, 1957, in Chicago, Ill., a son of Dr. Vincent and Eleanore (Rawski) Wojtak, former Stevens Point residents.
He worked as a machinist.
Survivors include his former wife, Julie; one daughter, Melissa, Lake-in-the-Hills, Ill.; one son, Erik, Lake-in-the-Hills, Ill.; his parents, Sun City, Ariz.; two brothers, Greg (Jan), Stevens Point, and Michael (Bernadette), Elk Grove Village, Ill.; five sisters, Maggie (Randall) Smith, Colorado Springs, Colo., Marijean (Gene) Browan, Peoria, Ariz., Monica (Mike) Barden, Waupaca, and Geralyn (Chuck) Feifarek and Elizabeth (Steve) Schneider, both of Stevens Point.
