Robert H. Anderson, 73, formerly of Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial in his name will be established at a later date.
Mr. Anderson was born June 24, 1927 in New London, a son of the late Henry and Rosella (St. George) Anderson.
He entered the U.S. Navy on April 13, 1945 in Milwaukee. He was a seaman second class. He received the American Ribbon, Asiatic/Pacific Theater Ribbon and the WWII Ribbon.
He was married to Henrietta Sobczak in 1954. The couple later divorced.
He retired from the Soo Line Railroad.
Survivors include one daughter, Renee (Dan) Feldt, Menomonee Falls; two sisters, Vera Smith, Arizona and Elayne Eickendorf, Washington; and one grandson.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Jere; and his stepfather, Stanley Klasinski.
