Johanna “Mickey” Cisewski, 75, 2024 Minnesota Ave., died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at her home.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Allan Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church until the services.
Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Cisewski was born Aug. 18, 1925, in Bamberg, Germany, a daughter of the late Franz and Anna Rumer.
She was married to Norman Cisewski on July 5, 1951, in Bamberg, Germany. He died March 16, 1976.
After the marriage, they came to the United States in 1952. Before settling in Stevens Point, they lived in Missouri, upper Michigan and Oklahoma. She lived in her Stevens Point residence for nearly 40 years.
Survivors include one son, Dr. Klaus (Hortensia) Rumer, Bamberg, Germany; one sister, Lily, Germany; three grandchildren; and her adopted U.S. family George and Sandi Lepak.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Ineal.
