Helen A. Vincent, 88, 1902 Post Road, Whiting, formerly of 2133 Center St., died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at the River Pines Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Al Burkhardt officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. The American Legion Auxiliary will have a ritual at 6:45 p.m. Friday. The St. Peter’s Rosary Society and St. Anne’s Society will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m. Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Joseph Parish.
Mrs. Vincent was born July 30, 1912, in the town of Dewey, a daughter of the late Valentine and Constance (Ligman) Przekurat.
She was married to Louis Vincent on May 4, 1940, at St. Peter Catholic Church. He died May 14, 1987.
Mrs. Vincent and her husband owned and operated Lou Vincent’s Apparel on Main Street for 25 years.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Rosary Society, St. Anne’s Altar Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church and American Legion Post 6 Auxiliary.
Survivors include one sister, Regina Tork, Stevens Point; and one brother, Herman Przekurat, Stevens Point.
She ws also preceded in death by 11 brothers.
