Valeria Frances Schoch, 91, formerly of 2125 Michigan Ave., died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at the home of her daughter, Mary Blomiley, in Marquette, Mich.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Alan Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Visitation will from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel. The St. Ann’s Rosary Society will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 9 a.m. Friday at the chapel until the services.
Mrs. Schoch was born Dec. 17, 1908, in Veefkind in Clark County, a daughter of the late Frederick and Frances (Rochleau) Dietsche. She attended schools in Colby and Abbotsford.
She was married to William J. Schoch on June 27, 1934, in Abbotsford. He died March 3, 1963.
Mrs. Schoch worked as a nursing assistant at St. Michael’s Hospital, until her retirement in 1975. She moved to Marquette in 1993.
Survivors include three daughters, Ann (Larry) VanDerleest, Madison, Mary (Howard) Blomiley, Marquette, Mich., and Susan (Richard) Belke, Wisconsin Rapids; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
One son, William F.; twin infant daughters; her twin sister, V. Florence Dietsche; three other sisters and seven brothers preceded her in death.
