Thelma D. Christianson, 89, Madison, a former Stevens Point resident, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Hebron Oaks in Oakwood Village.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison with the Rev. David L. McRoberts officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at Forest Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the services.
The Fitch-Lawrence-Sanfillippo-Cress Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Christianson was born July 28, 1910, in Adams County, a daughter of the late Hugh and Elfreida (Hatch) Hurlbut. She grew up in Stevens Point and lived here for many years.
She was married to Russell Christianson on Nov. 18, 1932. He died in 1998.
She moved from Stevens Point to Madison in 1991 and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Charles (Janet), Kalamazoo, Mich., Paul (Sandra), Madison, and Roger (Carole), Scottsdale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Hurlbut.
