Pauline Konieczki, 90, River Pines Center, Whiting, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at River Pines Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church with the Rev. Pat Umberger officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the services.
Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Konieczki was born Aug. 30, 1909, in the town of Sharon, a daughter of the late Walter and Helen Blarek. She attended Sacred Heart School in Polonia.
She was married to John Korpal in 1929. He died in 1945 in Bari, Italy.
She was married to George Bregger in 1946. He died in 1965.
She was married to Bill Konieczki in 1966. He died in 1988.
She and her husband, John, ran the South Side Bakery from 1926 until 1944.
She then worked for Fisher Dairy as a clerk and office worker for 20 years.
She was a member of St. Stephen’s Altar Society and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, of which she served as president.
Survivors include one daughter, Audrey Heuring, Plover; one son, John (Alice) Korpal, California; one stepdaughter, Jean Conway, Florida; one stepson, Roger (Alberta) Konieczki, Stevens Point; one sister, Margaret Pliska, Milwaukee; two brothers, Stanley (Tillie) Blarek, Brokaw, and Conrad (Theresa) Blarek, Bevent; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers and one grandchild.
