Luke H. Ostrowski, 78, Wild Rose, a Portage County native, died Thursday, July 27, 2000, at Wild Rose Manor.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with the Rev. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating. Burial will be in Hope (Heffron) Cemetery in Portage County.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church until the services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Ostrowski was born Dec. 14, 1921, in the town of Hull, a son of the late William and Veronica (Wawrzynski) Ostrowski.
He was married to Shirley Korleski on July 20, 1957, in Bryon, Ill.
He worked at the Wild Rose Box Factory and as a log skidder at a local sawmill.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma and a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; three sons, William (Jana), Green Bay, Anthony, Beloit, and Mark (Nancy Stelter), Oshkosh; one daughter, Terese Ostrowski, Pullman, Wash.; five sisters, Agnes (Clarence) Kovaleski, Wautoma, Dorothy Shulfer, Amherst, and Angeline (Thomas) Zalewski, Henrietta (Greg) Zimmerman and Esther (Dominic) Wroblewski, all of Stevens Point; and two grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
