John Z. Spott, 50, 4819 White Pine Drive, town of Hull, died Thursday, July 27, 2000, in the emergency room of St. Michael’s Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in King.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Boston Funeral Home.
Mr. Spott was born April 29, 1952, in Chicago, a son of Aleksandra (Lapinska) Spott and the late Zigmunt Spott.
He served in the U.S. Navy, entering on Nov. 12, 1975, at Great Lakes Naval Base. He was discharged on Feb. 14, 1977, at Norfolk, Va.
He worked as a dispatcher in the Chicago area and later for W.H. Transportation in Wausau.
Survivors include his mother, Stevens Point; and two sisters, Alice Spott, Stevens Point; and Wanda Spott, San Diego, Calif.
